Abstract

Las migraciones de trabajadores mexicanos a los Estados Unidos constituyen uno de los aspectos más polémicos y difíciles de las relaciones entre ambos países. El tema se presta a muchas controversias que rebasan ampliamente los estrictos límites de las relaciones de gobierno a gobierno para involucrar los mundos políticos y sindicales de ambos lados de la frontera. Pero no ha de sorprender que sea un fenómeno mal conocido: es de fácil manipulación y se presta a interpretaciones contradictorias que cambian conforme van evolucionando o manifestándose los intereses en juego.
