Abstract
La duda subsiste a propósito de los verdaderos objetivos con que fue lanzada la ofensiva del FMLN en noviembre de 1989 y no parece posible salir de la misma ateniéndose exclusivamente a las declaraciones vertidas, en el curso de los acontecimientos, por los comandantes guerrilleros o por los periodistas. Si bien es importante para el análisis tomar nota de la manera en qué en apariencia los hechos tuvieron lugar, no lo es menos tomar un poco de distancia, para interrogarse sobre el marco tendencial en el cual debe ser inscrita la ofensiva. Este texto pretende cubrir en la medida de lo posible esos dos campos referenciales.In all cases, authors will retain the moral rights established by law and they will yield the right of first publication of their article to the journal.
