Abstract
En Imaginarios ininterrumpidos […], el arquitecto especializado en el patrimonio Juan Manuel Casas hace un recuento de aquellos edificios que han sufrido desaparición o daño; señala los antecedentes a esta preocupación; analiza la Ley Federal de Monumentos; lista el patrimonio arquitectónico original; denuncia el desprecio por lo vernáculo; advierte los efectos de la modernidad; y aporta una nómina de constructores y arquitectos que durante los siglos XIX al XXI han edificado Monterrey y la región. El autor concluye con la mención de algunos de los criterios internacionales sobre la materia, que deben observarse en México y el Noreste.
