Abstract
Le 25 août 1833, le choléra faisait son entrée dans la ville. Mais l'épidémie n'a pas éclaté comme une bombe à Mexico. Les gouvernants et l'administration suivaient son itinéraire et s'apprêtaient à le recevoir. Les médecins aussi. A ceux-ci, le gouvernement demande des informations sur la nature du mal et sur la manière de s'en préserver. D'où une abondante littérature médicale publiée dès 1832 et pendant le premier semestre de l'année suivante. Nous examinerons ici comment les médecins ont été conduits à élaborer une tactique des conseils.In all cases, authors will retain the moral rights established by law and they will yield the right of first publication of their article to the journal.
